What is it

EchoFeed is an RSS aggregation tool that also supports converting text into near-human AI-generated speech.

Currently, we support iOS and iPadOS. Support for macOS, visionOS, and watchOS will be available soon.

Currently, EchoFeed does not support Carplay natively. However, you can view the current article and the sentence being read through the Carplay “Now Playing” app. Multimedia button controls are also supported. Full Carplay support will be available soon.

EchoFeed can be used without an account. We do not store user information or track users. Only the text that needs to be converted to speech is sent to our servers. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy .

Syncing articles and converting text to speech require an internet connection. Once synced, articles can be read offline.

Text-to-Speech

The plan is billed based on the duration of generated speech. Starting to play an article does not convert the entire article into speech, only the next two sentences. This way, you can skip articles you don’t want to listen to without worrying about being charged for the whole article.

No, replaying articles that have already been converted to speech and cached locally will not incur additional charges.

Yes, the free usage is still available even after purchasing a plan. For example, if you purchase a 240-minute plan and use it daily, you can actually use up to 540 minutes.

The free usage resets daily at 00:00 UTC.

To prevent abuse, each device can create a free subscription only once per day. This issue often occurs after uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Please wait until the next day to try again. In other cases, please contact support using in-app link.

Source

Currently, we support a limited number of sources, but more will be available soon. The supported sources are:

  1. FreshRSS 2. Local device storage 3. Any online service compatible with the Google Reader API
